MISSING relic/auto (WTF?)

I just opened a box of Bowman Football 2007 and didn't get a relic OR an auto. (!)

I now have 2 questions:

Are these cards guaranteed, as they are advertised on the box? and if so;

What can I do about this?

If its stated guaranteed on the box then you should have received whatever the box states.If so you will have to contact the manufacturer and let them know the situation,I believe u can get their info from Becketts or go online directly to their site.This happened to me awhile back and they took care of me(they want happy customers for sure)but u might wait sometime before you get anything and make sure you get the name of whomever u r talking to.Also let them know that u want an auto or whatever u r supposed to get from that same set which may be difficult seeing its from 2007 but that you would take a newer card if thats what u want.Hope this helps

Every box or product listing from all manufacturers says "Contains xx Autos/Mem ON AVERAGE"

That's their legal out .... however, when you contact them and they "SEE" who you are and if you have a track record of filing complaints they may or may not send you "something"

This being a 2007 product, i doubt it.

However, we open cases and cases each year and overall we get more in some boxes and not some in others, it averages out

We just had a customer bust a case of 2009 SPx Football and there was not the one/case shadow box card in the case. We emailed UD for our customer and they said they would "SEE" what they could do .... in the past it means they will send us something to give to our customer.

I think their e address is support@topps.com with any luck having your receipt still available might help-if you're able to scan it and attach it to your e mail, that might help too!Topps has a great reputation,you might not get what you want,but I bet they take care of you-good luck! most of the time, you can take the topps odds to the bank, but there are some exceptions. it's all probably a production problem and some products have a greater occurence of being short than others.

but when you rip the 2007 wax, you are on your own. i would say its not even worth your time check into it. about the only way you can be confident that topps will do something if the box is short is if you open a product that has been out 90 days or less.

you also have to worry about any redemptions possibly already expiring.

About a month & a half ago I did not get an auto out of a 2007 Bowman football. You have to send a copy of your receipt along with a brief description of the problem & all of the empty wrappers with the ups off the box as well. I did not have the wrappers but sent all the other things and had a card less than 2 weeks later of that year 2007. Hope this helps.
